With the implementation of the Law on the limitation of the use of tobacco products ,as of May 6,09 ,everything falls into oblivion or better to say everything is banned. Preparations are to be made ! There is a possibility to ''construct'' special smoking cages ,like the ones at airports, but few employers will probably choose this.Nothing else remains to smokers but to go out on the street, which is the most common scene in the West. Some companies have already begun to support their smokers , presumably the director or the owner smokes, and they have made gigantic outdoor ashtrays – tables. In order to prevent that all of this remains a dead letter, the legislator took care of the sanctions too: a company that does not abide by the law has to pay a HRK 30 -150 thousand fine;a responsible person has to pay a HRK 5 – 15 thousand fine and an individual- a smoker shall be charged with a HRK 1 thousand fine if he/she dares to smoke in the space smoking is forbidden in.
